Dick B.'s fascinating materials from 10 years of research on the spiritual roots of AA. This site is updated often.

The Recovery Zone
The Recovery Zone calls itself "the ultimate guide to 12 step information on the world wide web." The claim may or may not be true, but the site does, indeed, have a lot to offer, including the entire Big Book - available in print and streaming audio.

Silkworth.net
A site dedicated to providing "the best online research sources available in a well-organized, easy-to-use format." A nice site, for sure. Interesting AA & general recovery content.

PREVLINE
Website for The National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information. Includes links to the websites of federal and other non-profit agencies, several of which offer excellent free print literature. This site is an exceptional source of information.

Web of Addictions
An impressive and extensive site with a broad range of addiction-related topics and links.

About.com Guide to Alcoholism & Substance Abuse
Lots of good information and links. Offers weekly and daily newsletters that are quite interesting and useful.

Casa Columbia
A nice site from Columbia University. A good site for individuals interested in scholarly works. Quite a few academic journal article reprints.

Drug Help
A straightforward, few frills drug information site owned by Phoenix House, a non-profit treatment organization with facilities in several states.

The Sluggers Path
An interesting new approach to addiction recovery that serves as a focal point and visual cue (looks like the basepath). Features the "Big 5" values/commitments/levels of recovery.

Turning Leaf Press
A nice website devoted to slogans, sayings and other truisms, gathered from the rooms of Twelve Step recovery programs.

Some of the best recovery, substance abuse, and self-help related information on the web.

Love First
A good starting point for family intervention. Contains intervention articles, resources, answers to questions, online chat, and a bulletin board.

Intervention
Vaughn Howland's site. Focuses on theoretical approaches to and practical applications of the intervention process.

Geri's Recovery Music
A website devoted to recovery from eating disorders, depression, child abuse, and substance abuse issues. Listen to a free MP3 of the song "Serenity" from Geri's CD entitled "Soulful Journey."
